Fic prompt up for grabs
So, all this recent beautiful amputee!Stiles art by @batwynn and @loveydoodles has me thinking of an AU.
There’s this video about “solemates” -- people who have lost one leg/foot, who are the same shoe size as someone else who has lost the opposite leg/foot. So, when they buy a pair of shoes and only need one shoe in the pair, they send the other along to their “solemate.”
So, picture Stiles and Derek as “solemates” who find each other online...let’s say Derek’s canonical wolfsbane bullet hit his leg instead of his arm, and without the gang there he had to amputate it himself.
It’s got disability representation plus long-distance slow burn written all over it! Go to it, my little fanfiction flying monkeys! :-)
