“The voïd instead of the staircase. The droop of a step on the fifth floor of a building, Piazza Giulio Cesare in Milan, collapsed the entire staircase, which in a few moments was smashed with a sinister roar. Fifteen families were so blocked in the apartments, in the terror that from a moment to another the whole house would fall down. The firefighters hurried in with their material, and the residents were saved through the windows. "

“Una voragine al posto della scala. Il cedimento di un gradino al quinto piano di un palazzo in piazza Giulio Cesare a Milano, ha fatto crollare tutta la scala che in pochi istanti si è polverizzata con un sinistro boato. Quindici famiglie sono rimaste così bloccate negli appartamenti, nel terrore che da un momento all'altro rovinasse tutta la casa. Accorsi i vigili del fuoco con i carri attrezzi, gli inquilini sono stati posti in salvo attraverso le finestre".
