I have the cutest nephew!!
(For that describe me like a writer thing): Kellina had hair like good chocolate. Like 75% dark chocolate melted in a shiny copper vat and being stirred by a large wooden paddle in a way that makes it look so delicious in the commercials but probably never happens in real life. It's hard to keep going because I really want to mock you but in a poetic way and I don't feel particularly witty right now. But your hair does look like melted chocolate
I like this description of my hair.
My girlfriend is a complete and total butt and refuses to tag anything she reblogs. I suspect she is doing it to mock me. I refuse to allow this travesty to continue and will tag her in this post so people know who to scorn
Book challenge
In this challenge, you list ten books that have stayed with you, for life. The rule is to not think too hard and list the first ten that have affected you in some way. After, tag ten blogs who should also post their selection.
These are in a very random order (except Harry Potter)
1. Harry Potter (all of them)
2. Lord of the Rings
3. The Hobbit
4.Peter Pan
5. Pride and Prejudice
6. The Very Hungry Caterpillar (I recently saw this at Barnes n Noble and of course had to read the entire thing)
7. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
8. My Shakespeare anthology textbook
9. The Fault in our Stars
10. Eragon
my sister is currently writing a history of vampires, with complete disregard for actual history, or vampire legend, the table of contents alone is hilarious. I hope she manages to finish it so I can read it.
amyplaystuba replied to your post “HOW DO I GET BETTER AT LIP SLURS”
MORE AIR AND DO THEM A LOT AND MORE AIR AAAAAAIIIIIIRRRRR (but for real tho, blow more air through the slur is the best help I can give)
i can do them if i am really warmed up but they are supposed to be used to warm up do you see my problem
amyplaystuba replied to your post: I guess the thing I am really worried about camp...
You won’t drop it. At worst you’ll chest it! I was super hopelessly weak and I never dropped it. The only people I know who have were my section leader and my friend Jack who were told to put the horn down differently than they were used to
is chesting it exactly like it sounds? because thats not that bad
amyplaystuba answered to your post “so here's the thing”
Pushups, hold a cinder block in front of you for as long as you can (an then keep trying to get that time longer), planks, shoulder stuff
exactly what i feared and expected someone to say... i start working out a week from monday and i'm not sure i can get my hands on a cinder block but i can substitute my tuba for it
