   A deep chuckle left him as he leaned in to kiss her forehead. “Ashe. Angaran or not I have fallen in love with you.” Savan laughed, a smile on his face as he looked at her. “ But ever since I met you you’ve been a trouble to me. Occupying my thoughts, distracting me from my work, stealing my heart.” Shooting her a sly look he shook his head.” I can’t even blame you! Have you met yourself? You’re beautiful,-” His blue eyes softened and he canted his head to the side. “Clever, funny, you don’t mind when I go on about rocks for hours, or when I hug you and i’m covered in dust and dirt from mining.”

   Gently he took both of hers and held them. Nervous energy building up around him as he looked at their hands. “I want you to be part of my family.” He glanced up at her, chin still tucked down.

“...“ As she listened to his words, the redhead slowly let her tears roll down her cheeks, no longer fighting them, although they were no longer tears of sadness, rather, tears of happiness. 

Looking down at their joined hands as well, she looked up at him after a few moments with a soft, genuine smile on her lips, before she wrapped her arms around Savan in a hug. “I would love to be part of your family.. I love you so much” Ashe’s voice was slightly muffled against his chest as she said this. Slowly looking up, the Mython couldn’t do anything but smile at him, before softly kissing him on the lips, ears fluttering, and her cheeks burning with a blush.

Friendly Face In a Sea of Unknown

He stared up as the Tempest began it's descent towards the Aya port. He had stepped off for a couple of days, hoping to rally some sort of acceptance for the group he'd grown close to. Well...close. He was the closest to Ryder and to Liam, but he felt he was making good progress with the rest.

Discussion of religion with Suvi, asking engineering questions he had no idea about with Gil -to hear the man laugh at him when he stared blankly into the drive core, pretending to understand. Discussions with Drack about family, the Genophage, anything he could, and delicacies each of the races had with Kallo.

Yes, he could confidently say, he was among friends And when the ship touched back down, he smiled knowing that they'd felt the same -if not they would have left him behind, wouldn't they?

Once the hatch opened, he and a few other Angara began to load the crates of supplies onto the ship -more nutrient paste, as getting canned food was begging to become scarce from the human Nexus. Once everything was settled, he made his way for the crew quarter but stopped when he noticed a new member on the ship.

It wasn't one of the men helping him load the cargo, and she looked as if she'd been on the ship for maybe...a few days? Maybe when he was dropped off.

He debated on whether or not he should go and speak to her, but his feet were already moving. “Welcome to the Tempest.” He greeted. “It takes a bit of getting used to. The surroundings are...nauseating at first, but the company makes it easier to deal with the unfortunate layout of the ship.”

Looking at him with eyes wide, Ashe swallowed for a moment in disbelief. Had she heard that right? “… You want a baby… with me?” she asked, a warmth growing in her chest, as well as a blush spreading to her cheeks.

Looking up from what she was doing, the redhead fluttered her ears gently at first, then they lowered in shame. She’d gotten a black eye, and it didn’t look good. “….. It.. It doesn’t matter…” Sky swallowed gently, she didn’t want to talk about it. It wasn’t that she’d done anything to deserve it, no. Rather, it was a Roekaar who’d hit her on Aya, while she’d just been minding her own business to buy some things, and she felt ashamed about it for some reason.

Of Different Kin

Being among one of the many alien species which had arrived to the Heleus cluster, albeit, his own kind had come a few months later after the whole showdown with the Kett against the native species of Andromeda and the Initiative species.

Vladaff was watching as the ship he was on, landed on Aya. It was the second time he’d been there, but this time, he and his crew-mates could enter the city, rather than being stranded outside in the docking area. The Au Ra spacecraft landed silently, and the bridge was lowered for the crew to get out.

Getting out, the grey skinned Au Ra was clad in his armor, energy bow on his back, even though he likely wouldn’t be needing it.

As he crossed the walkway, his eyes were steeled, cautious. He’d run into some of the Roekaar on Havarl, which hadn’t been pleasant. That was his first encounter with the Angara. So there was a reason the Au Ra Xaela was being careful, despite knowing that he should be relaxing.

“Cheer up Vlad.. Go take a look at the city, it should do you some good, yeah?” one of his crew-mates said, shoving his arm slightly. The other was shorter than he, whereas Vladaff was one of the tallest of his kin. “I know..” Vlad answered with a soft growl, before walking past the other and entered the city. It looked so different on the inside, so many Angaran, as well as Initiative species roaming the streets. Oh well..

His eyes opened wide for a moment, not sure what he should do before his hands moved up, gently resting on her arms, eyes closing as he kissed back. He was confused, but it was a pleasant experience. It was better than being on the short end of a bitter temper, and he was lying if he said he didn’t find the woman attractive. She was beautiful, and strong and strong willed. But he didn’t get his hopes up. Whatever this was was a spur of the moment, nothing else. 

He knew that. That’s all it ever was.
