What's your least favorite color combination for characters?

i think any colors can look good so long as they are used properly! ive seen the most garish (in my opinion) designs turn into something good

like, here, i'm not a huge fan of opaline's colors. i dont think they look great together, and the gradients are odd!

but in this art by aztrial on deviantart, it works!

it's more about execution, lighting, and understanding color harmonies than colors being good or bad
