Anaspirial

Anaspirial is the lack of aspirial attraction, which is the desire to be closer to a potential role model or more akin to them due to their perceived experience, talent, and/or wisdom. One who is anaspirial may not have any role models, may be repulsed by the idea of having a mentor figure, may be neutral to the idea, or may voluntarily select a role model without any actual aspirial feelings to push them forward, among other options.

Coined as an alternative to "asocial" of the same definition to avoid confusion with other forms of asociality. It is only a synonym to the one mentor-based definition of asocial; it does not stand in for any other definitions of asocial.

The flag colors are based off of the aspirial attraction flag, particularly the two colors inspired by college graduation gowns.

cute lil idea i thought of

velvet anasp or ant-wasp anasp

the shortening of anaspirial — which id say should be anasp — sounds kiiinda like a butchering of "ant wasp" lol, which. velvet ants are a species of wasp so,, ant wasp :3c

id make a cute lil flag for it, but id wanna make sure to find a way to keep the graphics perfectly smooth, which iii dont knouw how to achieve alas T_T

i dont rly understand looking up to anyone who seems perfect?

like.. its probably bc i may or may not be [anaspirial] and thus never have any actual role models no matter what LOL but. its like

perfection seems so impossible to achieve, isnt it more inspiring if you find some evidence that even you, too, can do it?

if you only listened to spirit phone, i dont see how that could be inspiring, even tho its undebatably excellent yk? but this video like, reminds you that he still started somewhere FAR from there

and like.. theres a lot of animators im fond of, but i cant say id ever look up to most of them like that. just them doing something good doesnt necessarily inspire me to do the same. but i like when i see slow progress, or especially when i see astounding animation done with sloppy lines or with a flawed artstyle or with line boiling or what have you.

but again, ive never had a full-on role model in my life, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
