I keep seeing DP fanfiction and fanart with Danny being pro-Phantom, but, like, what if he told people he wasn’t pro-Phantom? I mean, if Wes anybody ever figured they kinda looked like the other or some other “coincidence”, I can just imagine whoever being like “yeah, but Fenton is against Phantom, why would he be against himself?”

Meanwhile Wes is like “it’s an act, people! He’s totally Phantom” and Danny’s like “No way, he’s a dumbface [or whatever other weak insult]”. (And, Tucker’s in the back “wow, you guys believe in Phantom?!”)

This might just be me, but the longer I interact with the CR fandom, the more and more irksome the infantilization of the cast members and character gets. Both of them are adults. Sexualizing a character in one post, then referring to them as a "wittle baby, a wittle child" in the next leaves a disgusting taste in my mouth.

No one involved - at least, so far - is a child. But regardless if a member decided to play a child, that wouldn't make the infantilization any less irksome. They're not babies, they're not toddlers. Especially the ones that are autistic/adhd coded.

There’s nothing like writing my first grant in like 5 years to bring out the imposter syndrome, right when I’m 1) 2 weeks from deadline, and 2) very much generally anxious for mysterious reasons.

Guess it’s time to return to therapy…
