Trying to distract myself from thinking that I screwed up my exams because my mum tells me that if I keep thinking of negative things it will become true

So I'm coping by microanalysising these screenshots like it's under a microscope like the maniac I'm sure I am . Oh you can feel how much they are trying to smile through the absolute pain/ terror and dread it's especially interesting to me how cashmere in particular seems to struggle a lot more with smiling imagine that off camera her reaction to hearing gloss 's name was alot similar to katniss if not more shocked/heartbroken I headcanon that they always managed to help each other perform for the cameras by holding eachother 's hands in resurenes and comfort so even if every part of her wanted to scream her brother immediately holding her hand like how it's obvious he did in this shot just what kept her from breaking she had gotten so used to the fact that with gloss resuring her she can still perform. And thinking about how gloss first instinct to the fact that he's name was called and he'd be forced back into the arena this time with his sister who he must have been stressed out during her first games especially with how cashmere was pretty young. His first instinct was to still hold his little sister's hand and before haymitch switched to the district 2 victors you can catch a glimpse of cashmere and gloss looking at each other and it hits me in the feels thinking about how they must have been feeling. It sucks when you're not sure if you are hungry because you are stressed or because you are genuinely hungry or when you sleep too much or too little and it's again the stress or when you try to label all the current problems in your life because they are as tangled as the wires behind your computer and then it's either too cold or too hot and your heating doesn't work so you have to turn on the shower to heat up the apartment and you always have to tidy up why are there always dishes in the sink and then slowly you start having less and less time for your friends because your academic life is slowly swallowing all the other facets of your life and soon talking about problems doesn't help anymore so you shut up and the slightest mention of the said problem triggers you and you become less and less emotionally available and the best part of the day is that 12 am-3am part where you can light up a scented candle, drink some tea and watch TV or doom scroll i am sorry i don't know what's this
