thinking about how zelda got private lessons with porter bc she flipped out so much and it got dangerous and what if gorgug got private lessons with porter too? because he didn't flit out enough? porter trying to get through gorgugs skull what it 'really means to rage' meanwhile gorgug who has difficulties with being a half-orc after growing up in little branch (yk where all the small folk live and he's the only one towering over everyone there) and how porter probably keeps getting angry at him, not yelling into his face but clearly so much frustration over something gorgug isnt sure he'd be ever able to control.

just we have junior year porter at the start of the year with "i was hurt" when multiclassing was brought up

and same porter at the end of the year slamming gorgug into ground, crushing him in his hold and hoping gorgug just never gets up

LUNAR FLYBY IS TOMORROW!!! NASA starts coverage at 1:00pm est but the flyby is from 2:45-9:40 est I believe. WATCH IT IT WILL BE SO COOL

I will in fact stop my drum lessons in the middle of practice if something cool started happening (my drum instructor also likes space so he’ll be on my side) and you should too!

If you liked project Hail Mary, guess what? We’re doing that right now but cooler BECAUSE ITS REAL!!!! There are people 226,830 miles (365,047.5 km)* away from earth going at 1,453 mph (2,338 kph)* TO THE MOON and they will LIVE. They will 1) do some cool science for the viewers at home (us) and 2) prove we can do it again! We WILL go to the moon again, the only question is when.

I'm genuinely curious and wanna fact check. Just too lazy to use google and i figure there must be someone here who is an expert on the topic.

Just to make it clear where i stand: Gender and gender norms are social constructs and we should all respect each other's identities. Trans rights are human rights.

the point that i think a lot of people are misunderstanding is that a push for critical thought and centering of source material is not an attempt to “police” the thoughts and opinions within a fandom. if i post an opinion that a lot of people like, it’s viewed as valid and good, and if i post an opinion that makes me a dissenting or critical voice, it’s automatically viewed as hostile. and that’s a problem. if you want everyone to play with characters in their own way, then that also must be true for people who care about canon and preserving the intentionality behind the way a character was created. and if someone asks you to examine the way you’re interpreting something, instead of immediately being on the defensive, maybe take it as an opportunity for discussion and growth. none of us know everything. we’re all here interpreting the characters the best way we know how—but that doesn’t mean we don’t need to care about the way we do it and how it might affect others or play into harmful rhetoric. please try to understand that.
