My biggest and most immediate Arcane concern is “what are the consequences of this action?”
Obviously Jayce can’t die, Viktor can’t die, and I don’t think Mel can die. So does that mean that all of the irrelevant Council members blow up? “Oh, yeah, everyone died, but no one important”?
And it can’t just be Jinx sending in a “BANG!” note, because that would be like sending Rey on her own to find Leia’s brother while Leia stays behind just because Rey had a lightsaber. You know what I’m talking about.
But if it’s just Jayce and Viktor who survive, that sets a precedent (that will probably be precedent) that the Leaguers can’t die. Which...isn’t to be expected, really, but that does then call the show’s longevity into question. Again, not that “the main characters can’t die” is a problem, but if you’re gonna start racking up death counts...gotta let some other people live.
Hopefully only one or two councilmembers actually die and most of them are injured.
Alternatively, they ALL die, but Ekko and Heimerdinger unveil their TIME MACHINE and crank their Piltover Delorean up to 77 miles per hour and use the remaining Hextech to go back in time and undo it, but that seems unlikely (though, again...you DO have a future-time-traveler on the field, so this isn’t an Impossibility).
My guess, though, is that because Mel and Jayce were closest to the window, they’ll get blasted out of the window and be caught by something or someone. The ceiling will collapse and crush the rest of the council, and Viktor will be injured further and turn to his Hextech Core to fix ALL of his flaws.
