AH, i forgot to include my favorite part of living armor! floyd in the medieval AU. the only reason that floyd stays in the damp, empty castle and killing trespassers for a whole ten years is because he is waiting on jade.
his brother promised that as soon as the king was dead that together they would find a cure to get him out of the armor. jade is never causal with his words. he means each syllable, even if the meaning is twisted and two-face.
so, floyd waits. because jade was going to wed the princess, jade is the rightful heir to the throne, and floyd waits. because the kingdom should only belong to them, as floyd believes with his whole heart, floyd waits. because jade is his brother, he can always trust his brother to come back to him, floyd waits.
