Am I watching the new NCIS: Hawaii episode back to back. Yes, yes I am.

In general, I loved this episode. Was amazing seeing this badass dad side of Jesse. Like damn, don't mess with him or his family.

I am also very happy that Kate Whistler found some of her confidence back and is able to bicker with Lucy. I know why they had her all sad in the previous episodes but she can be a badass confident sexy FBI agent while still being sad about Lucy. Give me that cocky Kate back that we saw during the Bao case. Or a bit of that sexy mean attitude from 1x01.

The continuing developing friendship between Kate and Tennant that we saw during this ep is something I can't wait to see more of. She was in need of a friend and am so happy it's Jane. Also, can we now have more momma bear Jane meddling between Kate and Lucy? Because I saw you, Jane Tennant, asking Lucy to make that call to Kate. Your friends now and could have called yourself or have Ernie do it. But you asked Lucy. Sneaky.

And then that final Kacy scene. It was kind of the perfect balance between things being okay and angst. One amazing thing of this scene, besides Lucy totes checking Kate out, is her thanking Kate. It feels like Lucy is starting to get over her hurt or is able to see past it now when interacting with Kate. But that damn ending. Okay, I loved the angst. Not gonna lie. But why again is an elevator door stopping their interactions. Is this going to be a thing now? Do we know have to look out for the elevator in promos and sneak peeks? Or is this the writers' weird way of a lesbian cockblock..

ANYWAY, I'm getting off track. But the last thing I want to say is that I didn't like the sad puppy look face Kate had when the doors closed. And for that to be the last thing we see of her in the ep. Which again, going to be a thing?
