It’s TECH TUESDAY, so I figured I should drop a WIP from Into the Techiverse! I’m almost done coloring it in :).

Of course when multiple Techs come together they play board games. None of them are canon Tech, FWIW.

One inspiration for this longfic is the simple fact that so many people draw Tech so different. Like he’s in different realities. I love it, to be honest—sometimes he looks just like he does on the show, others like Temuera Morrison, sometimes he’s very slender, others buff, and his hair color is all over the place. It’s pretty neat!

(The only time I’m not happy with a Tech portrait is when someone gives him a full head of hair and youthful cheeks. Receding hairlines and aging are nothing to be ashamed of, and it’s canon that hair loss happens to clones, as well as aging)

I myself draw Tech with somewhat darker skin, somewhat thicker muscles, and more textured hair, like it’s been in and out of a helmet constantly. He looked WEIRD with stiff hair and being cartoonishly slender when in a picture with characters with more natural hair or with realistic physical proportions.
