hey so loop fic variant where two people are looping. They both remember it, and its a thing where one of the party dies, and it resets. But. One of the two that loop? when they die, it doesn't restart. They're just dead. And the other one has to keep going. For bonus points, The one that can die and not restart it? They wake up with scars/rapidly healing from the death as if it just happened, no matter how far past that point the other one got. Aka, they open their eyes and are in blood soaked clothes, and no longer have shoes bc they weren't wearing any when they died. They keep getting new scars, and one flavor of trauma. The other one has to see the impact. They've seen the other one die, and they've seen the way it hurts everyone else, and they've had to keep going. Then it resets, and this guy is exactly as he was the first time, no scars, no damage, no dirt.
