I didn't think Dev would dare have himself looked at-you see-he's more than a bit afraid of Medics and medical exams/surgeries/etc. Though outwardly in perfect health and does all he can to keep it that way-his neglect of routine maintenance is serious. How serious, I'm not sure. I'm sure he has some of the build-up that SlaveDev had, from lack of proper maintenance. He would not want Hyd or the others even to know of that. Though he figures he'd have to face it sooner rather than later.
