Okay, so, as a certified lesbian who refuses to keep long, natural colored hair, I'm going to let everyone in on a secret: to bleach and dye buzzed hair, you have to constantly go back and paint over it to keep that bleach in a nice, uniform layer, like a helmet, or the movement of your head will leave little bits, especially at the back where your scalp bunches up at head movement. It leaves it really spiky, so you have to take your brush and smooth over it over and over again, and then you have to repeat when it's time to dye it. If you don't, it'll end up patchy.

I am telling you all this because I like natural blonde Rex as much as the next bitch, but consider: Hardcase following Rex along with a little bowl of bleach and a brush touching up his patches and smoothing his hair down as Rex is focused on a datapad.
