kinda random but recently ive been thinking ALOT about how many characters paticularly women (at least noticably( are buried or not talked about as much due to shipping in fandoms (ie jay ferin being buried by fnc, vyncent rarely having any non gk content within main community, etc) and. it just pisses me off badstyle . a character is allowed to be a character and have dynamics even when they are in a relationship, or are friends with characters in relationships. alot of the time it draws me away from ships because of it (ive enjoyed ghostknife specifically less when im scrolling ao3 and see stuff thats only will centric, dont get me wrong will is very cool, but c'mon) and has actively drawn me away from things

not even *touching* on the issue of characters only becoming more popular/talked about WAY more after they get shipped with a more popular character (*cough* one of the reasons i dislike nightingstar *cough*)

anyways . uh . every character deserves equal love and dont be mean and cruel heart smile
