Does anyone know why the tree in pictures 1 and 3 would turn pink? It's not pink every year; some years the leaves are pink, and other years they're green. What environmental conditions (or any other factor) could cause such a thing? In the five years I've known it it's been pink twice. If anyone has any idea, I would really love to know. The darker red tree is just a plum tree - it's always got red leaves. The bright pink is what confuses me. I am not shooting infrared - it's actually that color. Cherries were on the same block and are just keeping me company in my confusion.
