Ughhh… I feel so so sick today…

I only slept maybe an hour lastnight bcs #The Horrors and I think I put myself into a flare bcs of it… my body’s felt heavy all day, I’ve been disoriented and dizzy, my HR is up, and I’m so so so nauseous with a horrible stomach ache and acid reflux… it doesnt help that the heat index is over 100 today. UGH. I feel genuinely SO sick but I had to just push through it at work bcs if I left every time I felt bad then… well. I would never work. Plus they need me and I already am on thin ice for coming in late today.

Fml.

I cant rest for long tho bcs I have an appt with my NEW cardiologist this afternoon… yayyyy!!

I am. Not looking forward to it.

Ntm on top of ALL of that, I have to go into work EARLY tmrw cuz I’m subbing for someone… which means I’ll probably get very little sleep tonight unless I go to bed super early. Ughhh.

I'm still a bit sad that it took me so long to finish this chapter even with how short and kinda transitional it is but... maybe it's the writer's curse doing its thing because holy shit the number of migraines I've had lately is... something.

Anyway I hope I can finish chapter 7 on time instead of needing another break! raaaaah i'm excited about it c: i'm already working on it and !!! :incoherent screaming: yeah.

Shades of Grey is the best boarding school novel in history and best captures the spirit of the boarding school novel. I think mostly because it’s not set in a school, most of the characters are adults or about to be, it’s set in a tropical post-apocalyptic full of megafauna, man eating trees and prefects and the only teacher doesn’t teach. Also after reading it you get nightmares about finding spoons. Anyway, that’s why shades of grey is the greatest boarding school novel ever written, and possible the great british novel ever written.

And while I’m on the subject of Arlathan AUs and rp, ideally I’d have to either A. use Vasayne who hasn’t been fleshed out beyond ‘devotee and a little bit in lust with Falon’Din’ or make a new ancient elf all together. Which isn’t an issue cause I could. But also.
