as much as a i very much agree that matt's the DM and therefore, based on RAW, his call is the final one and can override any rule for any reason, it really irks me when people go on about how its their game and that we should be thankful for them sharing it with us, as if CR isnt a very successful IP thats acrued them an actual insane amount of monetary gain. we can have both that matt's the DM and if you truly dont like it, you shouldnt watch, and that critical role is hardly a grassroots project that doesnt owe anything to its audience.

one more polarity to consider in OCs (like in that post, justice or mercy). before i crash. destroyer vs creator. i mean, you can guess which one is laura. there is no future to create. nothing like they hoped. that dream won’t be made true. ever. she does have a goal in the present though. and doing an amazing job of it. natalia believes in the creation of a better world. even (excuse me) technically, in the revolution... this is the goal that can, and must be achieved, even if (insert tragic bullshit backstory), there’s always hope there’s always a reason to keep going, as long as you’re you know doing something useful. laura protects nati... as a replacement tbqh. nati is not okay with it, she’s an adult and would prefer to be treated as such. and yet... she’s in love. hopeleslly in love with someone who couldn’t care less and who doesn’t need or accept help. they’re both fucked in this situation, tbh. ‘i won’t lose this one...’

My work for the next week ...

is going to be equivalent to having two full-time jobs instead of my usual two part-time jobs making almost one full. One job will still be 16 hours a week. The other is going to be closer to 60 than the usual 22. If I’m not around much, it won’t be for lack of desire. Please keep me posted if anything blows up, either in the fandom, in general, or in your world, specifically. I will respond the best I can, if not immediately then when the work insanity has calmed.

I’m going to be exhausted by the end, if not before. But it’s money.
