Also, Ishida uses a lot of telling and not showing (especially recently). Part of which I think is to blame the release schedule, and him trying to squeeze in info. Also, there are way too many characters to establish meaningful narratives for all them, so it ends up cluttered and we get info-dumps upon meeting people instead of having things being *shown* to us. Like that ghoul who used quinque? Um, how about the investigators stumble on his collection or something instead of "evil monologue"?

Yh since its a weekly thing he probably just writes what he cant show, plus he only have about 20 pages to do it in. Tbh idk who any of the new characters are, idk who Furata is meant to be cos so many new people have been introduced at the same time. Even now I can’t remember who ‘the ghoul who used a quinque’ is 😂😂😂
