gonna take this opportunity to say that i appreciate every single one of you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown for but i like you🙁🫶

my initial reason for writing it was for my younger sister who’s also obsessed w ihan as a surprise for her because she goes boarding school (NAWT for behavioural reasons btw) and i only see her during school holidays💔💔 so i started writing it for her and thought wait- this lowkey eats!! so i decided to post it and OMDS

I did not think so many people would like my silly lil story but I’m so glad you guys do and i will happily continue writing for you😋

but also as a side note i have started working on part 6 but no joke guys sixth form/college is not for the weak, especially if you’re in your last year like i am😭😭 so schoolwork is literally the sole reason why updates are unfortunately so slow but thank you guys for being so patient<33

in case anybody (probably nobody) is wondering why the end of the hiatus is taking so long, allow me to once again rant about issues i got myself into: i said i wouldnt come back until at least 5 arcs for apaf and the remaining chapters for bw were finished. well, allow me to give you the sneakpeak of the current stare of affairs: im working on Misplaced, second arc in the list of 5. when i said 5 arcs i did not know misplaced was going to require a replotting from how messy it really was. had i known this arc on its own was going to end up being 18 chapters long, i would have said after misplaced and bw ill come back but no, i shot myself in the foot bc i dont want to be a liar either. im on chapter 75 at the moment, 8th in the misplaced arc and let me tell you, i am cursing myself out for the ability to yap and have so much lore in this arc. I knew over a year ago that Failsafe, Misplaced and Performance were going to be the biggest in terms of impact to the plot, not counting usual suspects and adult aquiantance since those are the end. never in a million years would i have guessed it ending up as 18 whole chapters.

mind you, i have to get to 95 in order to have all these arcs prewritten and +3 for bw in order to not be a liar

if you'd like to join me in my frustrations at past me, this is how far i currently am in the episode (after 8 chapters all averaging between 3,5k-4k with a few outliers)

im so done with my brain istg. the ability to worldbuild and yap is a gift and a curse at the same time. but at least i can promise once i do have everything set, yall be eating good for a month or two with regular chapter releases every few days as per my previous updating schedule
