“You should’ve seen what the Wetlands did to my boots.”
Both of these idiots wore extremely impractical boots to the Hossberg Wetlands and Davrin laughed them all the way back to the Lighthouse.
The only song in the game is sung by Cida Ciconia in the Cobbled Swan, and only if the player saved Minrathous. But according to the script, you could hear Anderfels folk song in Lavendel - Bones Beneath the Creek. In the release version, it only exists in the codex - 3 verses, 1 chorus and Lavendel's version. The one who was supposed to sing in Lavendel was meant to perform all of them. It's unknown whether it was voiced, because nothing remains of this idea except lines of text.
Someone in the village is asking for a song Speaker 1: This place could use a song, couldn't it? Speaker 2: A song, a story—whatever's needed. After that, someone sings Bones Beneath the Creek Verse 1 Paths can lie and shadows hum, who knows which fates are bleak? Would Ella, lost, now soon become more bones beneath the creek? Verse 2 She saw the strange light dancing, she thought she heard it speak: "Come now, Ella, we are prancing... from bones beneath the creek." Verse 3 Is that fresh stew, is that your bride? Is that the home you seek? When Ella left, the spirit cried... for bones lost in the creek. Chorus "When heart beats hard on ribcage wall and you are feeling weak... Follow me and don't recall the bones beneath the creek." Lavendel's version "Who am I?" the echo asked, for I had asked it, too. "You are me," I echoed back, "Or maybe I am you." "Who am I?" the Echo asked, when I said not a word. "Worry not, for I am you," the Echo soon assured. "And I know where the gold was lost, and I know what you carry... And I know where to dig the hole, and what you plan to bury." "Who are you?" I echo back to a voice now far away. And wait to hear an answer from the place where secrets lay.
