andi ryder facts so far:

her full name is andromeda and scott is constantly using it as an argument ender. (“whatever, at least our parents didn’t name me andromeda, andromeda.”)

space nerd. history nerd. depressed nerd.

curious and impulsive, which is not supported by canon b/c i keep missing conversation interrupts D: D: D:

it always feels redundant to go ‘demigirl/aroace/poly’ b/c pretty much all of my video game OCs (at least the ones that get a playthrough) are, even when i don’t say it? but also it’s Important so there it is.

i don’t like the idea of her being military at all but I haven’t figured out how to AU it away yet.

at some point (pre-canon) the depression got bad enough that she was hospitalized. her mom’s condition got worse at around the same time. scott kept them all going.

compensates for depression numbness by being loudly cheerful about everything.

dyed her hair for the first time right before boarding the ark. she always wanted to & it felt silly not to at this point.

i have barely met the squad but i can already tell you she and drack will get along like a house on fire, as in something is likely to get set on fire whenever they’re around.

In truth, Odette felt like it had only been days at most.

She hadn't known why her uncles, her brother, and her cousin had all agreed that this would be the best future for them. They were wealthy enough to afford the trip, so they'd immediately signed on to the Andromeda Initiative. It was exciting and terrifying all at once... there were always risks they'd never wake.

But wake she had. Her family had awakened before her, and now she was sitting in the cryo lab, blearily rubbing her eyes with one hand as she lightly combed her fingers through her pale hair with the other.
