Running a hand through his hair, Charlie sighed. He tossed his keys on the table inside the door, kicking it closed with his heel. "Home early," he called out, loosening his tie as he shuffled into the living room. After fumbling with the fabric for a few moments, he finally gave up, kicking off his shoes instead. He had hoped his husband would greet him at the door as he usually did, but unfortunately, the other male was nowhere in Charlie's sight. Huffing as he flopped down onto the couch, a patter of feet caught his attention. Grinning widely, he sat up as a pair of pigtails peeked out from around the corner. A small voice chirped "daddy!" as the little girl came bounding towards him. Laughing, Charlie picked her up, pulling her onto his lap. "Well look at that, my little Princess all dolled up just for me, yeah?" he chuckled as she nuzzled into his chest, his eyes now caught by the shadow that had followed behind her. "Honey," he purred, craning his neck to look for the other male.
