Lucian’s arms circled Charlie’s hips, “I missed you too, babe.” He whispered honestly. Life had gotten too busy for the couple recently, and there was just not enough time in the day anymore. Lucian closed his eyes enjoying the kiss on the lips and those that followed it. ”The usual; a lot of cartoons, ice cream, and then a tea party. You have no idea how much stuffed animals gossip.”

Charlie nipped at the soft skin, humming in reply. "Sounds like quite the exciting day, my love." he muttered. Moments like this made everything really come together. The fact that they came so few and far between made Charlie truly enjoy them. He smiled through the kisses and little bites, his fingers dancing at the nape of Lucian's neck. "And once Grace is in bed tonight, you deserve a little wind down from being Mister Mom, yeah?" he chuckled softly.

A while back, Lucian would have been squeezing his eyes shut, but by now he knew that there was no danger, despite Charlie tripping over himself ”It sounds like a great idea.” He nodded in agreement. “Gracie, why don’t you go and pick something to wear?” Lucian asked his daughter, to which she grinned, always liking being given a choice. The moment the young girl had ran to her room, he turned back to face his husband. “Hello there.”

"Hello, handsome." Charlie purred, moving to wrap his arms around Lucian's neck. "I missed you today." He always missed his husband while he was at work, hell, he even missed him when he was just in the shower. Ever since they'd gotten Grace, it felt like their alone time was always limited. Pressing a kiss to the other's lips sweetly, Charlie chuckled aloud, shaking his head slightly at his own jumbled thoughts. "What did you and Grace get up to?" he mumbled, now pressing soft kisses along Lucian's jaw and neck.

Lucian feigned innocence as he looked back at his husband, tilting his head slightly to add to the effect. He wrapped an arm around Charlie’s neck as they kissed, pulling the male even closer than they already were. ”Proper enough for you?” He winked, a mischievous glint settling in his eyes. The look was there for a second before it disappeared as he turned to pay attention to Grace again.

Groaning slightly as his husband pulled away, Charlie couldn't help but smile. "Proper enough for now.," he mewled, his eyes lazily shifting back to the little girl. "Alright then, since Daddy is home early, how about we do something fun, yeah?" he grinned, shifting to scoop her into his arms. She continued to giggle as he spun her around, almost tripping over himself. "Yes daddy!" she screeched, clinging to his half undone tie. "How about we head to the park, and then go out for dinner?" he asked, turning back to his husband for confirmation. "How does that sound?"

Lucian didn’t even attempt to answer, knowing that Grace was going to do it for him. He watched the two with admiration, leaning against Charlie’s arm. “Next time, we’ll make Daddy do it. Okay, Gracie?” He grinned with the knowledge that there was no way his husband was going to get out of it now that the idea was planted into the little girl’s mind.

Charlie raised an eyebrow at his husband before smiling down at the little girl. "Daddy won't be as good at it, but he'll try," he chuckled, bouncing the girl on his knee. Turning back to his husband, he muttered, "And someone owes daddy a proper kiss." He smirked, pressing his lips to the other's, the blonde girl still bouncing happily on his knee as she giggled and screeched.

Lucian was finishing up putting his daughter’s hair up in pigtails for the dozenth time today alone, as he heard the door open, his husband’s voice calling out a few seconds later. As soon as she heard her daddies voice, the little girl squealed, jumping off of Lucian’s lap to run towards the living room in the fastest speed she could possibly go. The male chuckled, going after her at a much slower pace, seeing a sight that made his heart beat faster every time he saw it. “Hello, Love.” He smiled at his husband, approaching their couch. He pecked the man’s lips before sitting down next to him.

Rubbing the back of the small girl in his lap, Charlie smiled. "And where were you hiding, mister?" he asked, leaning into his husband. Their daughter giggled, peeking up from her spot buried in Charlie's chest. "Daddy, he was putting up my hair!" she bubbled with a grin, nodding fervently. The pigtails were already coming loose now, and Charlie could only laugh in response. "He did a very good job, Grace. You look beautiful," he replied, pressing a kiss to the top of her blonde head.
