Baltimore Comic Con: Day -1

So Thursday before the con was a busy day for me, the writer, as well. I had to get all the items need for a convention weekend in order. Made sure all the comics were safe and packed, all the money for our change fund was good to go, had all my clothing picked out and sorted for each day, and all the food/drink we needed for the con was placed in the car. 

Around 2:30 ish I made my way down to Baltimore where the artist lives. She is about 30 minutes away from the convention center by train so that worked out great for us, saving money on hotel rooms. Around 4:00 pm I was at her place. After getting items sorted, we went to the convention center to set up.

As we were about to walk in, we ran into Trish "Nanook123" Forstner. (link: http://animatedvisions.com/) We walked together and talked a bit. We soon found out that, luck of all luck, we were table neighbors as well. She was really cool and nice so that was a bonus.

Setting up was easy enough for us. We did not have a lot to do but place comics out and make sure everything was perfect with our table. Around 6:30 we were headed back to the train to return home.

We had some supper (Burger King), watched some random youtube videos, then crashed for the night, eager to begin our comic book selling the next day.
