New Krita Animation Speedpaint!

Basic run cycle but I am happy with it. I learned from mistakes done with the walk cycle and polished this one more.

But more importantly, I am finally done with the challenge thing!

While not all of my animations came out how I wanted them, I certainly don’t regret doing this. Now I’m more motivated to animate frequently.

I’m definitely going to keep doing these two week exercises in the future. Thank you to everyone who liked and shared my animations! I’ll be working on more polished ones during my break!

Animation cleanup timelapse: Warrior Inti, Power Hit

Here's a small video of what the cleanup process actually looks like (when sped up 32x, that is :-D). There's some additional commentary in the form of subtitles, though you might need to pause the video at some times as it can go by pretty fast - I'm still learning the ropes when it comes to video editing, and going at 32x can make for some pretty tight timings. Also, I didn't put any music to avoid trouble with youtube's copyright system, and to allow you to put your own. Here are some recommendations to share in some of the atmosphere:

This is somewhat a week old but here’s a quick animation tutorial I did. I’ll be making more of these frequently now that my time management is becoming much, much better.

This one is about what software I use. The commentary is old so I’ll update with a followup when I can. However, I’ve been using Krita A LOT to animate lately. Experimenting heavily with After Effects and Open Toonz is also on my to do list. 

Another thing I began to implement was thumbnailing my keyframes on paper. Paper isn’t software related but animating traditionally is still very useful, in my opinion.
