This Roger and Jessica Rabbit Serigraph Cel can now be yours. It’s available through Forgotten Treasurez (link in bio) for an absolutely amazing price. These were available in the early 90’s at Disney Parks. It recently spoke with the website owner and she was incredibly nice. I bought one for myself finally after all these years. A Serigraph Cel is a high quality printed copy of a original cel from the movie. This scene of right after Roger and Jessica faced the Dipmobile. The Disney seal is in the bottom corner. Twinkle Nora Rock Me! Laserdisc(1985) . . Twinkle Nora Rock Me, the anime quoted to be “the worst anime of all time” and understandably I can see why it got that title. The animation is super super low budget, with from what I read somewhere the frame rate was as low as two frames per second in some scenes, which is just sad. Basically there’s no in between work which makes it so choppy which made a bit of a meme-able anime especially with the infamous dance scene, lol. I saw somewhere saying the probably overspent on the audio/music and ran out of funds to pay for the in between animation which if true is so unfortunate, and actually the LP is longer than the actual OVA runtime! The soundtrack isn’t that bad either! You can listen to it YouTube. And in fact you can watch the ova there as well! Another aspect that labels this as the worst anime would be the general writing of it. You have Nora Scholar as the main protagonist who now a bounty hunter but this times she’s has psychic powers? Which she apparently gets in the manga? (Also the manga itself is a whole level of weirdness.) Anyways her job is to catch a notorious bad guy, a few fight scenes here and there and the some dance scenes at the end and that’s pretty much it lol! Go watch it for yourself and be the judge! . . I’ve actually become fond of Satomi Mikuriya’s artwork! I think his style was bit ahead of his time with others like Buichu Terasawa or Ryochi Ikegami and others where the style was on the border of realistic and cartoonish! So I brought the LD with the Nora manga together! The price was pretty decent as well! As you can see in this photo I have my original sketch of Ariel in the background standing up which will eventually be colorized in pencil. I used that sketch to place clear acetate over and trace my original drawing so I can colorize it on the reverse side with animation cel vinyl paint.
