Spring - Year 3
After a sponge bath, FroAnhke is the first to change into her new spring clothes.
With her hair untwisted and pulled into a puff, she helps Integrity grind wildflowers for flour, sugar, and oats (as I had not yet edited @anitmb's hunting mod food processor to process @echoweaver's harvestable wheat into flour).
FroAnhke's year 3 spring outfit goes through a couple of tweaks before she appears the way she does in her sim profile, and her alternate outfit (seen here) is tweaked again once I found a more suitable top. There are going to be a lot of little tweaks and re-tweaks of outfits and lot remodels. It would seem my design skills have to adjust between modern and period piece games, and I'm still rusty.
Three other family members, Trovinte, Assiduous and Pride, also change into their new spring outfits after washing up for the evening.
I didn't choose to do the makeovers in batches. Assiduous and Pride made their own outfits. FroAnhke made her and Trovinte's. Ru's outfit was also completed at this time, but I thought he'd hold off on changing into it until he'd finished Shocc's. Justice and Integrity had started their outfits, but not finished them, and FroAnkhe ended up finishing Integrity's outfit for them.
After FroAnhke and Integrity finish up grinding, Integrity heads over for some play time before dinner, while Trovinte catches up with his wife.
Then Ru finishes cooking and the family convenes in the dinning room. The rest of the Isol Isle sims will have to wait one more day before they change into their fresh gear.
So, for anyone else that follows @anitmb on YouTube (channel is here), their algorithm suggested one of her older videos, and it did not disappoint. It was the one where Thandiwe goes to Katrina (just how many children has this wonder woman had?) Morel's and checks her dating profile but just ends up bashing her head on Katrina's macbook because everyone on there was so terrible. 😂
Maybe she went over for a party? Maybe the one where Herbert kept randomly screaming? I don't know.
Anyway, I'd never seen Thandiwe up close because I watch on my phone, but thought I remembered that Ani said she got her from Mod the Sims, so I looked her up.
Long story short.
She is absolutely GORGEOUS.
She is on MTS here.
Finally tested out the Cup of Tea mod and now my sims can be tea addicts like me.
Very satisfactory.
I live for @anitmb woodcutter mod! ❤️

WCIF Special Challenges/Scenarios

Oh I'd like a challenge like this. How do you get these? Never seen this pop-up.
There are 5 move-in scenarios with a 20% chance of triggering when moving onto a lot.
Ancient burial ground Lot starts with ghosts and gems, with a bunch of weeds scattered about. The Repo-man will come and offer to remove the tombstones for you if you wish. WARNING: The ghosts on this lot are always active, and as such, you won't be able to remove the ghosts or the tombstones without cheating or accepting the repo-mans offer.
Flooding Sinks and showers start broken and leaking. The repairman will come and offer to fix them for free if you so desire.
Meteor Aftermath Various objects in the lot will start out singed, and the lot will be filled with piles of soot and ash, with a smattering of meteors found about. A firefighter will come and offer to clean off some of the piles of ash.
Squatters Squalor The house will start infested with rats and filled with trash, with a few random vegetables spawning around the house. A maid will come and offer to clean some of the trash for free.
Bug infestation The house will have an assortment of bugs and butterflies flying about. A science geek will come and offer to take them off your hands, but will not pay you for them. This is the one and only way to get the science geek to visit your house in his or her uniform, thus allowing you to add their outfit to your dresser if you get them to join your household.
I use this mod by blennus to increase the chances. NRaas: DebugEnabler will also allow you to ‘Start Scenario’ on a lot manually.

Oh that's a shame about the created paintings not going into sims' inventories. I tried it with a Buy Mode painting and that does actually go into the inactive sims' Family Inventory. :-)
That is correct! I found two identical wall hangings from Buy Mode that are for sale in the bookstore/gift shop in the Sr. McDermott’s family inventory (somebody REALLY, REALLY LIKED IT, lol) when I switched to them. I need to experiment more to see if other craftable items actually transfer but I wonder if sim-made paintings might be the exception to the rule since most everything else is in the catalog. But then why do they transfer when they are your active sims but not when they are inactive? It’s a mystery!

Next great tips! Tbh I'd prefer it that way - too many objects in sims' inventories would really cause a lot of lag.
Full inventories can be problematic! I have one of the NRAAS mods (couldn’t tell you which off hand) set to clean up inventories on most sims in town and would certainly suggest that to anyone planning to have a lot of Savvier Seller stores in their neighborhood - some things DO transfer but NRAAS will clean up inventories periodically. :)

Oh, neat! I was so disappointed when I found out you couldn't sell paintings with the savvy seller set. Very cool mod!
Yes it is! @anitmb ani’s sims did a wonderful thing by improving this set by leaps and bounds! I love it. The only things I can think of to make it better would be more than one shift added to the register (so that one clerk doesn’t have to attend it the entire day) and if possible to allow other sims to interact with the register clerks without breaking the assignment to their registers. It would obviously need to be done by someone who actually knows what they’re doing (in other words it won’t be me, lol!)
