Hi! I’m excited to share that I directed Paranorman short called “The Thrifting”! It will be screened this Halloween, alongside with the original feature theatrical re-release!

From Laika, in collaboration with Passion Paris, it is written by Chris Butler and starring Anna Kendrick & Finn Wolfhard - it was an absolute dream to make. I had the chance to work with an incredibly talented team, and I can’t wait for you all to discover it.

This "seperation is good actually" trend in media from the past decade or so needs to fucking die already, I'm so sick of it. Especially when the original movie was literally about them fighting to reunite/stay together and then the sequel/remake says "nah".

I hate the zipper pants for the beastfolk at NRC with a passion greater then 5 suns - so I wanted to come up with something for a skirt (not final, just trying things out). And made more very quick sketches! :D

I said I wouldn't use the princesses twist designs but since Gwendolynn is from Robin Hood I just wanted to draw the twisted!MaidMarian as a friend of Gwendolynn! He was my favorite anyway. I don't have a name for him yet. I thought maybe Mirin? It's used as a girls name mostly but theres a guy walking around named Leona I think that'll be fine. But maybe too close to Marian. Suggestions are always welcome :D
