the feminine human urge to cry because you don't know what happened to anna korlov
THE LINGERING SPIRIT OF ANNA KORLOV || LITERARY UNSOLVED ( 8 / ? )
The way I’m reading Anna’s story in Anna Dressed In Blood is sort of an updated spin on Medusa. An abused young girl cursed to hurt people against her will and talked about as a monster when really, she’s a victim?
Not sure if this was intentional or not, but that’s how I read it and I think it’s a pretty cool parallel.

Why doesn't 'Anna Dressed In Blood' have a fandom? I mean it was one of Kendare Blake's earlier works and is amazing. I would have read it in one sitting if I could but have to read it in a few close together reads, which meant I read the book in less than a 9 hours, which is honestly fast for me, around this time of year. So my question is why doesn't it have a fandom, as it's been out since 2011, is an awesome book, and well read by people. It just doesn't have a fandom, at all, it makes the tdc fandom look huge. I mean other than people recommending in a long list of books, or like three people just quickly typing quotes with a quote post there is literally nothing.
"I think of her again. Anna. Anna Dressed in Blood. I wonder what tricks she'll try. I wonder if she'll be clever. Will she float? Will she laugh or scream? How will she try to kill me?" - Cas Lowood
