Anna Turner
ONE CHICAGO KILLS ME EVERYTIME
Rn I just need to see these two women being gay in the same environment
Everyone seems to love Anna (the nurse) and while I get that she was important to Severides development and all that ,I think she was a bit bland as a character and things between them wouldn’t have worked in the long run and he would have eventually realized he had feelings for Stella (granted he wasnt in love with her at the time)
strongly agree | agree | neutral | disagree | strongly disagree
it feels kind of shitty to say but anna was a plot-relevant love interest; she existed to develop severide as a character. she ended what had been a revolving circle of hook-ups and short term relationships for kelly and actually allowed us to see kelly's deeper personal feelings for maybe the first time since shay died. but that was the extent of anna's character. i mean, we know she's a nurse, and she died of cancer, that was about all we knew about her, i mean she even stayed in chicago to have a relationship with kelly despite her family living elsewhere. i liked their relationship for what it meant for kelly and because it gave taylor the chance to really show off his acting chops, but it was never written to be endgame and i agree he always would have ended up with stella.

Special Branch: The Children Of Delight (1.8, Thames, 1969)
"It seems that since this hoo-ha started, some of their members have been refused jobs; houses; their children have been refused entry into schools!"
"People still have the freedom of choice, thank God."
"Listen Moxon. I don't like what I've heard about The Children of Delight any more than you have, but I'll fight to the death to defend their right to exist - even if their beliefs happen to be repugnant to me. What kind of freedom do we want?"
