So to expand more on Rhodes and potential ships. What are your top five Rhodes ships you'd like to see?
Well, I'm a fan of the big one (Connor x Will), so I'll list the less popular ships. To be honest, I'd be happy to see him shipped with every and anyone, though
5. Connor x Otis
This is most definitely nothing more than a crackship, but I'm intrigued by the shift in Connor's type (strong, independent, etc). It would make for some cute fluff-centered oneshots, but I don't think it'd extend further than that
4. Connor x Erin
In general I think Lindsey is definitely Connor's type, but probably not hers. Regardless, I like the dynamic, especially since Connor tends to attract those on the crazier side. At least Lindsay wouldn't try killing his dad 🤷
3. Connor x Matt
I'm not sure what it is, but these two just fit together. I guess it'd be the most boring of the bunch, since they're both super into communication and thinking things through, but it's also probably the healthiest, and they both deserve that
2. Connor x Kelly
God, the tension between these two would be fucking fantastic. They're also hot as fuck lmao. I'd love it if there were fics of these two in any capacity
1. Connor x Jay
Technically Rhodestead, but it's nowhere near as popular as I wish it were. They both match each other's type, and the dynamic has a lot of story potential with plots like Jay going undercover, a criminal going after Connor, bonding over how hard their jobs are, etc. In my eyes they're very complimentary in their morals and personalities
Bonus
I'm a sucker for age gap fics, big or small, so pretty much any older character. Of the options I think Antonio, despite not having that big of a gap with Connor, would be a fun read (as long as it's not the same shit show it was with him and Sylvie)
