Height: 5' 3.75" - the quarter inch is critical because it means I'll never fit in petite or regular ones.

Favorite Fictional Characters: Good Lord. Seriously? In my lifetime of reading? Laura Ingalls Wilder (she isn't fictional but her books are shelved in fiction so I'm counting her), Anne Shirley, Sid Halley, Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser, Jamie Fraser, Jerusha "Judy" Abbott, Harry Potter...seriously, we could be here all night and no one is going to read this anyway.  

Favorite Novel: absolutely impossible to narrow down to one book...I can't even. Okay, the ones that immediately leap to mind: The Martian (because it is sitting next to me because I had to check a reference), Outlander (because I pulled it up to re-read because of the mini-series), Daddy-Long Legs (because someone gave me a cheap paperback copy last week and I couldn't resist re-reading it).

What Are You Wearing Right Now:  red cardinal fluffy two-piece pjs. had socks on but just pulled them off because my feet were too warm.

What Made Me Get a Tumblr: I didn't want to do it... but I am weak. I'm active on twitter and kept seeing so many bloody references back to Tumblr and just couldn't resist. I really didn't think I'd like it as much as I do - although sometimes it makes me want to pull my hair out.

Why Did I Get This URL: i-didnt-wanna-do-it ^see above^ It is actually a lousy name because it is absolutely impossible to track because too many people tag it for other reasons. I probably should have gone with my fandom name but didn't for *reasons*

Because all the other seventh pages I considered were reeeeeeally draft-y, have a snippet from chapter 3 of my MCU/616 crossover. And as per usual, not tagging, snag if you like! 

He curses when a door opens just moments before he’s about to pass it, slows his steps and angles his body even closer to the wall. Maybe if he’ll wait in the shadow of the open door and the person stepping out of the room will be headed in the same direction –

The person stepping out of the room is Natasha. She stares at him blankly, a little bit like she’s seeing a ghost, her gaze sweeping over him head to toe, stuttering at his injured arm, then swinging up to meet his eyes.

“You’re alive,” she says, and he’s not going to take the surprise in her voice personally.

“Well yeah,” he replies. “Obviously.”

“I got him,” she clarifies for the comm line to the other Clint, and frowns, nodding at his arm. “More or less in one piece. What happened?”
