Another Christmas comes and goes
Actually I'm mostly writing this because I write something every year haha
Christ is the reason we're supposed to celebrate Christmas, but often this is forgotten in the excitement of presents and family get-togethers.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
I didn't feel a pressing need to write and get my emotions out like I have in previous years. I think it's because I don't feel mopey this year. I think this is a growing point. I've been content spending time with my family, chatting to friends and with my man, but most of all, genuinely giving thanks to my God for the year gone past.
I know He has an amazing plan for me, perfect for me in every way. I'm slightly anxious but looking forward to 2015.
Thanks God for this year, with it's hardships and it's harsh periods of growth, for it's fun and the friends gained, the lessons learned and relationships strengthened.
