Am I the only one who has to scroll through the asks on a blog to see what they sign as when Anon? I mean I use mostly the same name but it differentiates a little with each blog I interact with. Dang my memory is absolutely terrific /s. I know I could just not use Anon but people are scary.

How do you even get Tumblr to respond to you? I've been trying to contact support, but they send completely unrelated replies. It's like they aren't actually reading what I'm saying and just copy-pasting something from a manual.

You gotta be very polite and very detailed about what's happening with your blog. Be coherent. Write out what you're trying to say and then read it out loud to yourself. Does it make sense? Can you understand what you're trying to tell them? Most of all, be patient.

If you saw my post about fighting with tumblr then you'll know that they didn't respond until my second time at contacting them. The first time they contacted me I mislabeled by email to them as my blog being marked explicit which it was not, and just wanted to get the two posts that are marked sensitive looked at.

Because I emailed them about the wrong thing, they responded with an automated email about how they reviewed my blog and corrected their mistake (which my blog wasn't flagged so I don't know what mistake they fixed?🙄)

The second time I messaged them I selected "Something Else" from the drop down menu. And then explained I needed a particular post reviewed. But, seeing as their response was vague and giving me instructions on how to have flagged posts reviewed, I can tell they didn't actually bother to read what I wrote, hence the second email where I'm a bit more annoyed.

So, in summary, make sure you are specific about what issue you're having. Make sure you can understand it when read out loud. Make sure you select the correct reason for contacting them otherwise you'll only wanna pull your hair out more. And lastly, be patient! It takes what feels like ages for them to reply sometimes. It sucks even more when it really seems like @staff doesn't actually read what you wrote. Good luck! I hope they stop giving you unhelpful answers.☹💖💖💖
