JM and JK looked fine to me. JK was fuckused on the teleprompter to make sure he didn't miss his lines. Jimin’s expression seemed very relaxed. It was good to see them.
Looking at Jimin’s arms, I hope there might be an arm wrestle challenge on camera in their future. I believe Jimin might give JK a little more to deal with now.
I wonder why they had on their ON fits...practicing for the Seoul concerts but why a dress rehearsal at this point in time unless they modified them for some reason. Or MAYBE those were the only outfits handy and also being reused for these concerts and we’ve already seen them and they wanted to look coordinated for the award acceptance.
Or MAYBE I am letting my imagination run too wild. BAHAHAHA!
One thing I want to say about the Permission to Dance Tour: it will probably be viewed by over a million fans by the time the Vegas concerts are done. Also taking into account the concerts that were held last fall, the one with no fans and the ones in Los Angeles.
These cinema/theatre/live simulcasts all over the world...they will sell hundreds of thousands of theatre tickets and hundreds of thousands of online viewing tickets...combined with the in-person concert tickets, also in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS. PERHAPS OVER A MILLION will see these 7 concerts combined. This is how they are doing the PTD world tour. This is the send off for PTD.
The next concerts after Vegas will be for the comeback, you watch. And I wouldn't be surprised if they handle it the same way, less in-person dates but much online streaming and in-theatre live viewing. They need to get the United States dates done before football season is underway in August because BTS needs their giant stadiums. Many stadiums do updating/maintenance during the summer months as well so the window for 2022 is getting smaller already for some venues.
Disclaimer: but I could be wrong too. Either way, if they come close enough to me where I don’t have to spend money on a plane ticket I will be FIGHTING for concert tickets.

Kobe Bryant may win yet another trophy _ an Oscar
LOS ANGELES/January 23, 2018 (AP)(STL.News) — Does Kobe Bryant need another trophy? He might get one — at the Oscars.
Bryant, the retired Los Angeles Lakers star, was nominated in the animated short category for “Dear Basketball,” based on a poem he wrote in 2015 announcing his impending retirement from basketball. He was nominated along with veteran Disney animator Glen Keane.
“What??” Bryant responded on Twitter. “This is beyond the realm of imagination. It means so much that the @TheAcademy deemed #DearBasketball worthy of contention. Thanks to the genius of @GlenKeanePrd & John Williams for taking my poem to this level. It’s an honor to be on this team.”
Bryant’s poem begins: “Dear Basketball, from the moment I started rolling my dad’s tube socks, and shooting imaginary game-winning shots in the Great Western Forum, I knew one thing was real: I fell in love with you.”
It reflects on how time is running out. “I can’t love you obsessively for much longer,” it says. “This season is all I have left to give. My heart can take the pounding, my mind can handle the grind. But my body knows it’s time to say goodbye.”
It ends by counting down the final five seconds on a game clock.
Bryant, 39, a five-time NBA champion, played 20 seasons with the Lakers before retiring last year.
