Y/N stepped out of the car, still feeling the remnants of his hands all over her body where she didn't want them to be. She didn't even realized how ruffled her hair had become or how her top had slipped out of place until she caught her reflection in the car window. She didn’t care. The last thing on her mind was looking perfect. She was just... tired, humiliated, full of guilt.
As she walked up to the front steps, she noticed a figure sitting on the porch. Rabbit. His head was down, and for a moment, she thought he was just waiting for her to come home. But then she saw the silent tears running down his face, glistening in the dim porch light.
"Rabbit?" Y/N's voice was soft, but it seemed to snap him out of his thoughts. He looked up at her, and his eyes widened when he saw the state she was in.
"Y/N... what happened? What did he do?"
Y/N swallowed hard, her throat closing up as the memory came back. The things Clarence had said. The way he'd touched her. She hated it, and she couldn't stop thinking about it.
"He… he tried to force himself on me," Y/N whispered, her voice breaking. "You were right about him, Rabbit. I should’ve listened."
Rabbit's face morphed from confusion to fury in an instant. His fists clenched as he stood up, his body shaking with rage, but he also felt a lot of guilt. "I didn’t mean for that to happen. I swear, I didn’t want you to go through this, Y/N."
She shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes as she took a step back. "You told me not to come crying to you if anything went wrong… if he hurt me. You said I’d regret it."
Rabbit’s face crumpled with regret. He reached out to her, his voice trembling. "I was wrong. I never should’ve said that. I was just trying to protect you, but not like this. I’m so sorry, Y/N." He pulled her into a tight embrace, his arms shaking as he held her. "I should’ve been there. I should’ve stopped it."
Y/N rested her head on his chest, feeling the warmth of his body as the tears finally fell freely. "I thought I could handle it," she whispered, "but I couldn’t. I’m sorry."
"you did, you escaped him, didn't you" he said, y/n raised her eyebrows.
"Only because I said I wanted to wait..." y/n said "but... it was after a few tries..".
Rabbit frowned at that.
"You didn’t do anything wrong. This is on him, not you." His voice cracked as he held her close, as though he was trying to shield her from the world and all its pain. "I’m here now, okay? I’m never leaving you. You’re safe with me."
Y/N nodded, her fingers gripping the fabric of his shirt as she breathed in the comfort of his presence. Despite everything, despite how broken she felt, Rabbit was there. And for now, that was enough.

Y/N sat curled up on the couch, wrapped in one of Rabbit’s oversized hoodies. She had taken a shower, she felt how her hair was getting cold from the water. She hoped it had washed away the feeling of HIS hands all over her. The only thing that comforted her right now was Rabbit—his presence, his warmth, his hoodie. He sat beside her, and y/n were resting her head against his shoulder. Her legs spread out and she was lying down.
“You should get some sleep,” he murmured, running his fingers gently through her damp hair.
Y/N exhaled, shaking her head slightly. “I can't.”
Rabbit didn’t push. He just tightened his arm around her, letting her bury herself into his chest. She felt safe like this. Like nothing could touch her.
After a few minutes, he could hear her snoring. He shifted slightly and pulled out his phone. He dialed a number, pressing the device to his ear.
“Yo, Proof,” Rabbit said, his voice low so he wouldn't wake y/n. “I wanna face Papa Doc."
There was silence on the other end, then a knowing hum.
“You sure?” Proof asked.
Rabbit’s jaw clenched. His free hand absentmindedly stroked Y/N’s arm as he spoke. “Yeah. I should’ve done this a long time ago. I let that motherfucker get away with too much already. Now he tried to force himself on Y/N."
Proof froze. He had never met y/n, but he knew how much he meant to Rabbit.
"Okay, yeah let's take this motherfucker down."
__
Y/N could feel the tension inside the The Shelter. The Word had spread fast "Rabbit was going up against Papa Doc". The crowd buzzed with anticipation, people already placing bets etc.
Y/N stood near the side of the stage, Proof beside her, his arms crossed as he watched Rabbit step up to the mic.
Clarence smirked from across the stage, cocky as ever. “You really wanna do this, Rabbit?” he sneered. “After everything? You think you can take me?”
Rabbit didn’t say a word. He just stared at him, jaw tight, hands gripping the mic like a weapon. Then the beat dropped.
Bar after bar, Rabbit exposed papa doc for everything he was—a fraud, a coward, a rich kid playing gangster. He tore apart his reputation, his lies, his ego. But more than that, he made sure Clarence knew exactly why he was doing this.
“This ain’t just rap, this personal, You hurt someone I care about - now it’s reversible. I ain't lettin' that slide, no excuses, Try that shit again, I leave you toothless.”
The crowd erupted, feeding off Rabbit’s raw energy. Clarence tried to keep his composure, but Y/N could see it—the flicker of panic in his eyes. He was losing.
By the time Rabbit spit his last line, the battle was already over.
Clarence didn’t even try to fight back. He just stood there, humiliated, before storming off the stage.
Rabbit dropped the mic, stepping back as the crowd roared around him.
Y/N ran to him the second he got off stage, throwing her arms around his neck. He hugged her tightly, pressing a hand to the back of her head.
“It’s over,” he murmured against her hair. “He won’t ever touch you again.”
Y/N held onto him like he was the only thing keeping her upright. “Thank you,” she whispered.
Rabbit pulled back slightly, looking into her eyes. “You don’t gotta thank me, Y/N. I’ll always fight for you.”
She gave him a big smile as he spoke up "You know… I was thinkin'," he started, rubbing the back of his neck. "Since I finally got my car back, maybe we could— I dunno— go somewhere? Just me and you. Like… a date.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat. “A date?” she echoed, a small smile forming.
Rabbit shrugged, trying to play it cool, but there was a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. “Yeah. I mean, unless you don’t wanna be seen ridin’ around with a broke battle rapper.”
She nudged him playfully. “I think I’ll survive.”
His smirk widened. “Good. ‘Cause I’m takin’ you out, Y/N. And this time, you won’t be comin’ home cryin’.”
She leaned her head against his shoulder, feeling lighter than she had felt ever since he tried to force her. “Sounds perfect.”
"About goddamn time" she heard Seth say.

GENUINE QUESTION: does Sebastian say "team effort" or "team Evans" in my new favorite video to ever exist???
Danny at SDCC!
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I gotta just say how proud I am of Sebastian for winning the Golden Globe (even if people don't seem to respect that so much as an Oscar when obviously they totally should) and just how delightful this picture of him and Anthony is! <33 <3
The best trio is this trio! I’m excited that the ‘other’ trio may almost be gone! Tick tock, swim away fishy!
