TODAY'S FACT IS

Did you know that the Hairy-Footed Flower Bee (Anthophora Plumipes) is a digging species of bee found in much of Europe and Asia? These are solitary bees and as such do not build colonies together. Instead, the female will dig cells out of soft earth and clay to lay her eggs (one egg per cell). Moma bee will load up a bunch of nectar and pollen in each cell for the hatchling to feed on during development.
