Memories of Departure
Obtainability: “Angels on the Road” event gacha. This is event memoria and should be kept in the case of a rerun. Single Effect: Anti-Debuff [100%] & Damage Increase [40%] (Self / 1 Turn) MLB Effect: Anti-Debuff [100%] & Damage Increase [45%] (Self / 1 Turn)
Anti-Debuff will prevent the equipped character from becoming debuffed (these are the effects with blue icons).
Damage Increase will increase the damage done by the equipped character’s attacks, and its effect takes place after the buffs and debuffs are calculated. Damage Increase and Damage Up are essentially the same effect, however Damage Up has a 100% cap while Damage Increase doesn’t. Both collectively cap at 300%.
“Memories of Departure” is a very good limited active memoria. When putting together its two effects, you have a memoria that can serve both an offensive purpose and a supportive one-- however, it’ll be tricky and take some planning to use both effects at once. Notably, “Memories of Departure” has the highest source of Damage Increase from memoria in the game. Even forgoing the Anti-Debuff, this makes it very powerful to use.
The Anti-Debuff meanwhile will support your character, especially for high-tier content such as Ex-Challenges or the new Endless ones. The trick to using it will be know when to activate it, so using it blindly on a fight isn’t a good idea. You’ll want to know ahead of time when to activate "Memories of Departure” to make use of its Anti-Debuff effect.
Like mentioned earlier, using both effects to its maximum potential will require some planning. You’ll want to take advantage of the Damage Increase, likely with a puella combo, but also want to make sure that the Anti-Debuff is put to good use too.
However, for casual play, this memoria can be utilized solely for the Damage Increase if desired. It’s a memoria that can serve many functions and is a good tool in your arsenal.
Lastly, this memoria can be considered a Stat Stick. Stat Sticks are Active memoria that beef up a character’s passive DEF its stats, not its effects. These kind of memoria are helpful in Mirrors, where some Actives serve little more than, well, “stat sticks.” This blog considers anything about 2200 DEF a Stat Stick . Note that the memoria needs to be Max Awakened to qualify as a Stat Stick.
TLDR: This is a great memoria for more casual use and for hard content. Getting the most use out of this memoria however will require some planning and and a knowledge of the oncoming fight-- but overall, this is a great tool for straight up increasing the damage your character does.
