Jinu Defender till I die
I'm sick and tired of Jinu being the ONLY ONE to get hate of any kind. It's always "Jinu did this" "Jinu did that" they forget that one of the main components for Rumi wanting Celine to kill her was also Mira, Zoey and also Celine herself. People make mistakes, that is the entire plot of the movie. Celine made mistakes with how she raised Rumi. Hate her for it but still just mistakes and she can be redeemed in some sense. Mira, Zoey both made countless mistakes when it came to how they talked about demons around Rumi accidentally solidifying how Rumi should feel about herself. Again sure not exactly fully their faults however they would have made Rumi feel even worse. Jinu's entire situation when he was alive was not entirely his fault and it's about time people see that. Why would he take his family to the palace if he knew they wouldn't be allowed in. Gwi-ma tricked him completely. However these other shippers will say that "it is entirely his fault for taking the deal." He was Poor like really poor, in the 1600s. I've said it b4 i'd take that deal instantly. If Jinu was actually like 25% as bad as these other people make him out to be, they'd have a leg to stand on. However he's not so they dont. The biggest betrayal for me in that scene was when Zoey and Mira very shortly after it all was discussing how to do their songs WITHOUT Rumi... They moved on way to quickly. Anyway, Jinu defender till I die, leave my man alone. He has suffered enough. If Rumi could see the shit you say about him, she would be fucking pissed off.
Gosh just talk about your ship without mentioning the other ones damn, is it that hard???
First of all, the movie happens in 2 weeks, not one month. And when has jinu gaslighted and manipulated her??? I think I missed it. And the Saja Boys never made anything to ruin Huntrix's public image. They were actually giving a shoutout to Huntrix in their video. They were building a positive image of themselves to compete with them, but they never made them look bad. HE ACTUALLY WANTED TO HELP HER, DID WE MISS THE PART GWI-MA TORTURES HIS MIND AND ALMOST BURNS HIM ALIVE ENVELOPING JINU IN HIS FLAMES??? Gwi-ma puts Jinu in the hopeless place he was again, that's why he thinks for a moment of all demons should feel guilty, including themselves.
He betrayed her and she still wanted to save him and he didn't sacrifice to excuse his previous actions, he owned up, he apologized for all of it and was burnt alive by the evil being who abused him for 400 years to save her to prove he meant it.
And yes, they were both using each other at the start but they fell in love on the way. So what? I'm convinced some of y'all have never touched a half decent enemies to lovers in your lives.
Ship whatever you want. Just don't keep hating on the canon ship of the movie who's helped the movie get a greenlight to be made in the first place and the whole cast and crew loves it. It's okay to criticize and give valid criticism and have discussions and debates about it. It's okay to not like some ships. But don't disrespect any ship like that. Polytrix is not real. You invented it. How can you say they are more healthy? Canonically the girls see each other as friends and found family. Sure their friendship is very healthy even with its ups and downs. But that's all it is in the movie, friendship. They never implied otherwise. It's fine to ship them but don't bash on the actual canon pair of the movie, is simple as that. I myself I like many ships from the movie, like Jinu and Abby for example, but I'm not gonna mischaracterize Rumi just to make Jinabby look better.
I am glad that I am not crossing anymore blind hate towards Jinu information in the Rujinu tag. But I do feel I need to remind fans that the tag Rujinu is in support of the movie's cannon ship.
Rujinu supports the relationship of Rumi and her demon and almost boyfriend Jinu. So I think it makes sense that searching up Rujinu should be pro, Rumi loves Jinu stuff. Not, Rumi suddenly decides she wants to be in a relationship romantically with her buddies and Jinu is just there to watch. (I can't forget that one polytrix shipper who wanted him to be a cuck sword and forced to watch Rumi bang her friends)
In short, if you don't support Rujinu and want a different relationship. Please don't post your ship that isn't rujinu, to show up in the rujinu tag.
If you condemn Polytrix for being "sexualized" but then actively repost nsfw content of your hetships then the problem isn't the sexualization, its that you view queer/poly relationships as hypersexual and are uncomfortable with queer sexuality because you are, say it with me kids, homophobic.
People see three girls being affectionate with each other and being obviously sister-coded and gremlins are like:
"What if they were in a p*ly relationship."
Like: Go outside and touch some grass. For real.
I am a PROUD k pop demon hunters fan. I have two kpdh shirts and a bumper sticker on the back of my car. My best friend is a k pop demon hunters HATER who describes it as the film equivalent of labubus and also regularly calls it k pop demon mid.
And yet she respects the fact I love the movie and is compassionate and an active and understanding listener when i actually want to talk about what I like about it. And I do the same when she wants to criticize what she dislikes about it. after all, though I may love the movie, I completely understand it is very much a trend and very much has its flaws.
Although we have opinions on the complete opposite spectrum of things, we can still see stuff from one another’s perspectives and respect that while still maintaining our own personal opinions. It’s crazy that that’s more than can be said for the kpdh fandom on twitter. Yikes.
Istg I'm starting to dislike Polytrix and the only reason is all the posts I've seen about Polytrix fans hating on Rujinu/Jinu while tagging it as Rujinu or Jinu instead of anti Rujinu/anti Jinu.
