When I’m in a hating Ruby and Lucifer competition and my opponent in Dean Winchester(I’m cooked):
Somedays I look back at season 3/4 and wish that we got the Sam harnessing his psychic powers and using it to save Dean plotline instead.
No Ruby.
No Castiel.
Just Sam and Dean being irrationally erotically codependent.
RWBY: “Kids on the battlefield is bad! Team FNKI are anywhere from nineteen to twenty one and that’s way to young to be out here fighting Grimm armies! Marrow is calling out Ironwood’s horrible endangering of children! Ozpin should never have trained people like Gretchen and especially Pyrrha because no one that young can choose to be involved in fighting Grimm and Ozpin was needlessly endangering children!”
Also RWBY: “This seventeen year old and her nineteen year old friends are one hundred percent ready to get their Hunter licenses and are totally right to say that they should stay and fight Salem, and anyone who doesn’t explicitly trust them on everything and involve them in every way with their direct fight against Salem is actually wrong. These kids are the only hope of humanity and they’re actually way more worthy of being involved in the war than most adults and these adults doubting them are being stupid and should just step aside and let Ruby and her friends do whatever they want!”
They can’t have both. The FNDM can’t have both. It’s either ‘people under twenty one shouldn’t even be trained because they’re at risk of dying and that includes Team RWBY and JNOR’ or ‘people under twenty one can be trained to fight Grimm and make choices to join the inner circle and fight against Salem, and that applies to Team FNKI, Pyrrha, and Gretchen.’
Personally, I have zero problems with the mentality of teens and very young adults being fighters involved in magical wars because this is an anime-inspired cartoon and we’re obviously not going by real world standards, but having this background theme going on of ‘kids shouldn’t be involved, shouldn’t fight, shouldn’t be on battlegrounds’... That breaks the whole premise of the show, because it makes you ask questions about if Ruby should have ever even been allowed in school, let alone in the fight against Salem. I mean, Ruby’s actions alone have already made me think she should’ve stayed in school and continued learning rather than being involved in the Inner Circle, but if Gretchen never should have been allowed to train because of the risk of death and we’re supposed to accept that Ozpin was wrong to have trained her, why are we supposed to think it’s a good thing that Ruby - now seventeen herself - should be allowed in battle with the Inner Circle? Why are we supposed to think it’s a good thing that she’s gotten her Hunter license? Why are we supposed to be okay with the fact that she went to school at all, especially when she went two years early?
This is hypocritical framing, and it damages the entire show.

August Walker is a saint
If someone had noticed I had feelings for them for almost an entire year and decided not to reciprocate those feelings until the last possible moment, when they wouldn’t have to risk a real relationship, I would’ve lost it on them. Kudos to August for handling himself much better with Ruby
Please for all that is good do not let them try and twist Sam and Ruby relationship into being healthy and romantic when it was toxic and abusive.
Ruby used Sam. She got him addicted to the demon blood then used him to fulfill her orders given to her by Lilith and Lucifer.
Ruby never loved Sam!
And why are they twisting it that Sam is the one who betrayed her? Do they actually watch the show?
I was looking forward to the double Winchesters but now I am dreading this.
Which spn character you dislike the most? for me it's Castiel, I really think he's fucking useless and overstayed his welcome.
Ruby... man, I absolutely hate her. The most satisfying moment was when Dean stabbed that manipulative bitch.
Ya know what, Gen can have whatever opinion/interpretation of the Sam/Ruby situation she chooses. Just as long as it’s not incorporated into this weeks episode, as long as TPTB don’t try to imply that she was anything other than manipulative with Sam, that she was ever genuine or ever felt anything genuine, as long as they don’t make Sam apologetic for helping Dean to kill her(she can be angry about it, that’s fine, as long as she gets no validation from Sam or Dean). It’s one thing if they’re gonna try to give her a redemption arc, but it’d be quite another and much worse thing if they tried to twist a past plot arc in her favor and at Sam’s expense.
How’s this for awkward? The demon who manipulated Sam into drinking demon blood on Supernatural may hold the key to solving the Winchesters’
