In the latest Big Finish boxset, the Master looked at the history of Daleks betraying Davros, decided he’s above that because he’s “Sorvad, Davros’ uncle who’s much better”, makes himself creator of the Daleks, kills every living being in the universe, develops a depression, naps a lot, needs his alternative universe self to tell him that he’s bored, who, by the way, works together with Daleks and needed thousands of attempts in a time storm to find someone, then simply went for the Master instead, needed to convince the Master that he was going to get betrayed by the Daleks (DUH!!), which took AGES because he simply refused to believe him, then had the Master find the Master before all of it began and tell the Master it’s gonna go wrong because “victory kinda sucks, dude!”, which of course, the Master didn’t believe, because why would the Master tell the truth, only for the Master to end up stopping his own plan, oh and somehow, the alternative universe Master gets made President of Gallifrey and it has absolutely ZERO use for him ever and he laughs about it for like half a minute before going on to ignore that fact and there’s still people out there saying the Master’s not enough of a dumbass and too much of an evil genius in Big Finish.
