We're discussing the Unbound Master, played by Mark Gatiss in one of favourite audio stories. This story is set in an alternative timeline where the Third Doctor never arrived on Earth. The Master has been waiting 20 years for him to arrive, and in the meantime, defected to China. This is a beautifully written and complex story that pushes the Master to deliver a devastating monologue about the Doctor's morality.
