Is it too late to free Sasuke and Sakura from the Naruto fandom. One worst fandoms I've been in can't go a day on Twitter( One of the Main reason I deleted that garbage app)without them getting hate or involved in discourse. I wish they were in a different and better series with a competent fanbase.

Sasuke is easily manipulated. does that mean he is quite naive?

Kishi said that Sasuke is pure. Through Itachi he also said that Sasuke is a blank slate that everyone can paint their color.

What we see is that Sasuke is an extremely honest person, that he's sincere and direct. He trusted his father, his clan and his brother, whom he kept on trusting (=believing his story) even when he wanted to kill him. So he can have some naivete in him, but he's not so naive that he doesn't know when someone is trying to manipulate him or obtain something from him.

He's easily manipulated by the ones he trusts. But when he doesn't trust someone he doesn't get manipulated, for example he knew/suspected that Orochimaru would turn him into his next vessel and was ok with it as long as he became stronger to have his revenge. He knew Akatsuki would use Team Taka but he accepted to carry on the mission they were assigned.

He's naive when it comes to feelings, cause he doesn't understand S*kura's manipulative attempts to make him get closer to her through pity, faking a submissive attitude and N*ruto (S*kura stans don't interact), in their final fight, not listening or objecting to any of his arguments, based on logic, instead hitting on emotions and pointing out Sasuke's loneliness and mentioning Itachi, Sasuke's most important person.

Imu Is A Better Written Final Boss

I am going to say it bluntly Kaguya was a badly written final boss  just made to excuse Madara getting what he deserved after Kishimoto tried to treat him as a tragic and hard to beat villain. Although she gets more backstory and characterization in the latter Boruto stuff, she was only introduced so late in the game that it like an ass pull that she was still alive and retconned so much we knew about stuff like Black Zetsu and how chakra worked. She has little to not characterization and despite being depicted as stronger than Madara she is then easily taken down. As a result, she is considered one of the most hated villains in the series. 

Imu on the other hand, I have to say he really is being build up as this really fearful and again being properly expanded on with great detail. It doesn’t hurt that due to Oda’s pacing being slower than Kishimoto we get to focus on details concerning him and getting used to this person who wasn’t previously mentioned until now. Also instead of twisting the world around where it’s full of plotholes his presence actually fits. Mostly because again we have been thinking for the most part the real tyrants to topple were the Gorosei but when it really was him. It changes so much but at the same time still doesn’t feel like a retcon.

Naruto:The Last plot hole

How could Hinata, the girl with magic eyes. Fall in love with Naruto, when Ino was so stunning in this movie. Fell in love with the wrong blonde.

You know what really bothers me about Naruto’s portrayal that I've noticed in Boruto?

He acts like his old self around everyone EXCEPT Boruto.

When he is around Kawaki, Sarada (Gaiden), or even Himawari (Parent-Child Day), Naruto actually feels like the Naruto that we grew up with

But whenever he is around Boruto himself? He feels like a completely different person most of the time

I have even seen jokes about how Kawaki feels more like a son to Naruto than Boruto does lol

I agree we see glimpses of Naruto’s old self, but personally, he feels like a different person more often than not.

I get your point though - his dynamic with Boruto is different, because Boruto’s the only one who ever challenges him or holds him accountable. Kawaki worships the ground Naruto walks on, and Himawari just quietly accepts whatever happens. But Boruto has standards.

You see this a lot with parents who grew up deprived, whether physically or emotionally. They work their butts off to give their kids a better life, but the kid isn’t grateful like they “should” have been. They take everything for granted and complain about minor things, like the parent not showing up for a birthday party.

Which is normal! It’s good when a child takes parental love and shelter as a given. That should always be a given. It’s reasonable for Boruto expect his father to keep promises and show up for important events. But to Naruto, Boruto’s grievances probably feel so trivial compared to his own childhood.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Naruto was jealous of Boruto. His mini-me has natural talent, a loving family, and a ton of friends. He has it so good, so Naruto may be tougher on him to “even things out” so Boruto isn’t completely spoiled. I doubt Naruto would act cold consciously, but he’s always had a petty streak, so this wouldn’t be completely outside his character.

So many anti Karin posts to the point it pains her to even admit shes a good sensor. So many anti Karin posts her blog turns up under top Karin Uzumaki blogs. Says she doesn't hate Karin thinking it gives free pass to bash character and not tag posts as anti. Amazingly is the only user who gets weird asks about SK ship for her to 'debunk' Hates all ships except SS.

Rant

Sometimes I think people want Naruto’s backstory to be worst than it actually was. Don’t get me wrong, he clearly had a sad backstory but people over dramatize it to the depths of hell.

If I recall correctly, based on the manga (not anime) he wasn’t outright shunned the way a lot of people make it out to be. People didn’t run away screaming at the sight of him or witch hunt him like Gaara. It seemed to be more subtle, like giving dirty looks and whispers. Things that many regular people like immigrants, ... go through which isn’t very nice but isn’t the kind of melodramatic screenplay people make it out to be (it gets to you though). It also wasn’t the entire population who were like that (shikamaru, ramen guy, ...). Again it was more subtle stuff, it wasn’t as in your face as people make it out to be.

He didn’t have much adult supervision or much care but he wasn’t completely without care the way the Ame orphans were where they had no adults to lean on and had to beg for a piece of left over bread from house to house in the middle of the rain and have doors continuously shut in their faces with the look of “ew ew ew don’t bother me and go away”. Although Hiruzen and Iruka weren’t exactly without fault (specially Hiruzen) they were there and that is not the same as complete isolation.

He wan’t poverty stricken; he had a roof over his head, access to education, proper clothes to wear, ninja equipment, food to eat like milk, bread, ramen,... he had a very working class economic situation from the looks of it, why make it seem like he was scrambling through the bin for people’s scraps (in canon not fanfiction)?

Although not as dramatic or horrific as the backstories of people like Sasuke or Nagato, his situation wasn’t exactly good (an orphan living alone whilst the general public, for the most part, had some hostility towards him). I don’t get why people insist on making him seem worst off than he was.

Is it because him lecturing and talking down to people with far worst circumstances than his while acting like he had it just as bad (a good deal of the time) is in poor taste? is it because his issues are more relatable to the general public and it’s personal for them? is it just for fun? is it because they read a lot of fandom stuff and actually think his situation was like that? is it like that in the anime? what could it possibly be?
