I made the mistake of trying to read a summary for Boruto.

I was warned.

I shouldn’t have.

Hi, do you think Sasuke could have married Sakura out of guilt and as a sign of gratitude that she did not give up on him? Or does he really love her in a romantic way? I know that he cares about her in his own way,that she is dear to him, but is this romantic love?

Sasuke married Sak*ra because kishi wanted more money so he created the new generation that in order to be liked instantly by old fans had to be related to it and not new characters, that's why he created couples even if he initially wrote a shounen without romantic couples mostly, and this is the main reason they married, to create a new character for the new manga.

In universe Sasuke was tamed into submission and brainwashed, part of this was guilt tripping into believing everything he did was a crime to atone. Imo marrying sak*ra was a part of guilt tripping, not love and nothing romantic even if he did care about her as a friend in part 1.

I know everyone wanted to see Naruto as Hokage, but I think it would have been infinitely more interesting for the continuation of Naruto to be a post-war rebuilding effort. Sasuke gets to leave for a few years, Naruto becomes jounin, but then Sasuke is back and they're in their early 20s and both of them become jounin sensei and the focus of the story would be on them trying to help the next generation (and thereby themselves) cope with how the world is rapidly changing. Themes of inter-village cooperation, helping orphans find a purpose in a decidedly not abandoned way, changes in technology, a breakdown of the barriers between clans, eradication of bloodsport, Sasuke and Naruto kissing, and of course the brutal murder of Homura and Koharu.

Boruto fans are wild, I don't know how they can support it while also supporting Naruto, they clash so hard hehe

Awakening the Mangekyo is supposed to be a huge monumentous thing and Sarada awoke it because her crush was in danger? Like...that's it?

You know what's so funny! One of the most popular 'Boruto' filler-"list" is a big lie. It says only 12% of the anime episodes are fillers and calls the rest of them 'Anime Canon' and a "must watch". What does that even mean 😂😭!? "Anime Canon"!? Eh???

It's either Canon or it's not, lmao.

(Okay I just checked what people say is the difference and it's bullshit. "Anime Canon" doesn't exist. It's still filler to the story.)

Meaning, lemme do quick math for you since they're lying. In actuality:

80.22% of 'Boruto' as of right now are FILLER EPISODES.

(Yes I did the math myself, you can re-check- there are 219 filler episodes and 273 of episodes in total. Well, almost, but we already know until November 6th at the very least there will be fillers apparently. 12% my ass.)

I don't keep up with the Anime, but damn, the last 53 episodes have been fillers.. no wonder fans have been pissed. But it's to be expected since the Manga doesn't follow the Anime schedule.

[Twist Ending Idea]

Okay hear me out... Naruto has finally accomplished his goal of becoming Hokage. He's gained respect, recognition, and power. Sasuke returns to the village and occasionally assists him with his duties, but things are only golden for so long. After his first child is born Naruto finds it incredibly challenging to be both a full time leader and present father.

There comes a point in his life when he feels like he needs to choose between his life long dream and his family. Having been lonely for so many years Naruto values family more than anything. The Naruto we all grew to love will sacrifice anything for his loved ones. So as a twist ending Naruto ends up resigning as Hokage and spends his days with his family, doing some kind of work part time.

I feel like this ending has a stronger message and is more in-character. It doesn't make sense that Sasuke and Naruto would be absent fathers and husbands like we see in Boruto. I can't believe our Naruto would actually become a workaholic and pick his job over his family.
