Monday blues. I couldn’t resist bidding on this beautiful covered ironstone vegetable dish at auction. The brush strokes of flow blue and green leaves really appealed to me so despite knowing that the finial on the lid was clearly glued on I got it. In this picture the finial is perched on the lid because that glue gave up.
