Please refer to each of the photographs provided, as our pictures are an important part of our description. This wonderful cookie jar has one small chip on the top as shown in the last photo. There are minor scuffs on the openings of each piece, along with on the very bottom. There is obviously a lot of wear on the paint. I have taken pictures from various angles to help alleviate condition doubts. McCoy manufactured this cookie jar design during the 1940s - '60s. NOTE: Old dishes and/or pottery was never meant to survive a dishwasher, which didn't exist when these items were manufactured. I would never recommend using a dishwasher on any of these vintage pieces. I recommend washing this item using cool water and your hand only - no cleansers. Drip dry in lieu of drying with a cloth.
