I’ve been a terrible tumblr this year. Going to try to do better. I’m 4 weeks out from my meet so I’ll try to post more often. I’d like to be able to look back on some of this one day, heh.
Tonight I had my last week of volume squats (I hope)
Squat 4x6 RPE 7
Bench 5x1 225
Incline Bench 4x10
Pendlay Rows 4x10
Band work
Im still fighting this AC joint issue so bench has not been happening. As soon as I think I’m over it, it comes back. My coaches have tried to keep the volume down while we work through it but it’s super frustrating. I’ve never been a good bencher, but it was something that was easy to me. Now every step is a fight. After the meet I’ll probably take some time off and get it sorted properly.
Anywho I’m just blessed to still be lifting heavy at 45 and I need to remember that.
